Just over 2 years ago one of my best friends, the playa that is Miss Jennifer Carruthers was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, which is cancer of the lymphatic System. I can literally remember the day we found out clear as rain, we were all going along in our wild university lifestyles not giving a care in the world until the bombshell hit. Now anyone else would've probably quit university, gone home and wallowed in self pity but not Jen. I don't think she realised quite how amazing and strong she was through this time, always smiling, rocking the Amber Rose look better than anyone, throwing her wigs off in clubs when we went out, making cancer jokes when things got tough, letting us draw on her bald head, a true playa who always saw the positives even in the worst times. Jen carried on living a normal life alongside all of us at university still studying and just saw cancer as a small hiccup. 

 It was a crazy couple of months but Jen solidered through and on the 21st November 2011 she got the all clear, So I wanted to do something to raise money for the charity that really supported my dear pal throughout her time in the Cancer Club (its okay Jen says we're allowed to call it that) so any donation would be absolutely amazing and if you need a laugh come see a tomato faced playa at the finish line.
