I have teamed up with the ‘Wallace & Gromit Cots for Tots Grand Appeal’ to raise much needed funds for St Michaels Hospital in Bristol. St Michaels is the Regional Centre for the South West and receives referrals for more than 600 babies a year, making huge demands on existing resources. Tiny babies, some born as early as 23 weeks, are cared for on the Neonatal Unit – their little arms and legs are often no bigger than your little finger. Huge advances in the care of premature and newborn babies enable the unit to care for more and more babies creating an ever increasing demand for the specialist and life-saving neonatal care they provide. To meet this demand, The Cots for Tots Appeal is raising money in order to provide new state of the art equipment and facilities to support premature and newborn babies from Bristol and throughout the South West of England. I am taking part in a fun sponsored swim around ‘Brownsea Island’ (from the safety of a lovely warm swimming pool!) on Saturday 3rd December at Oxley Sports Centre in Sherborne.   Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
