There are so many challenges out there to raise awareness and funds for various different charities at the moment, and I decided it was high time we did some more fundraising for Williams Syndrome as my God- daughter Grace has Williams.

After some thought we decided we’d start a challenge that our friends and family could join in on, wherever they may be, anywhere in the country or even the world, all awareness is good awareness.

Williams Syndrome is a genetic disorder where there is a deletion of chromosome seven, so we are going walk 77 Miles per month for 7 months starting 1st March 2018 finishing 30th September 2018 with an aim to raise £700 per walker / team in these 7 months.

This can easily be done by anyone who’s willing to shout about Williams Syndrome, you can either walk 2.5miles a day or go for a really long walk at the weekend, go with your dog, yours kids, or friends, and get everyone involved. All you have to do is walk, track your walks to show your sponsors you’re achievements, use social media to your advantage and spread the word about Williams Syndrome and fundraise. 

Not only will you be raising much needed awareness about Williams Syndrome, and helping raise funds you will also be getting fit whilst doing this.
