Don't we all love the idea of going home at the end of a hard day's work? Imagine what it must feel like having NO HOME TO GO TO! That's all very well you might think, homeless people are a familiar sight on the streets of London but not in a prospersous, surburban area like Kingston, surely it can't be too much of a problem? What might surprise you is that 550 people are made homeless in our borough every year!
Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness mission is to relieve the distress of homeless and potentially homeless people by finding appropriate accomodation for them and supporting vulnerable people in maintaining their tenancy and avoiding a 'revolving door' of homelessness. We have proudly served almost 5 thousand people since our inception in 1993
I went without food during Passion Week to raise money for KCAH as part of our Lenten campaign entitled 'Fast track out of the wilderness' remembering Jesus's desert experience. Please sponsor me and make a difference to the lives of all homeless people in our borough!
