Story
Hello everyone
Last year I just about managed it and committed on the spot to doing it again. Mmmmmmm - now gotta put my running shoes back on hopefully long before Sunday 11th July to run my second 10K for the Bhopal Medical Appeal (BMA).
As many of you will know, the BMA funds the award-winning
free Sambhavna Clinic, located in the heart of the gas-affected
communities in Bhopal, India. Last December marked 25 years since the disaster happened which was really only the beginning of the nightmare that so many there are still living.
The Sambhavna Clinic literally came out of nothing and exists due to the generosity of mainly UK donors over the years... it treats survivors and those affected by ongoing water contamination with a combination of the best of eastern and western medicine. To date Sambhavna has given free treatment to over 35,000 people; it needs to reach more.
Even if you can only manage a couple of quid, it really does make a difference to those struggling for health and a life of dignity in Bhopal.
Cheers
Becks xx
