We lost a very special friend and our associate director, Luke Rotherham (see photos), who died at the young age of 27 in January from an epileptic seizure. In May we want to run the Manchester 10K in his memory.
We'll be running to raise money for his favourite charity; Rhema Theatre Company (see video) and 10% of all donations will go to Epilepsy Research UK*. We hope to raise more money than ever before in Luke's memory and to support the work that meant such a lot to him. Luke loved running the 10K (in very quick time too!) and so this event will be a precious way to remember him and promote this Kingdom building work, as some of us will be running in fancy dress as Bible characters - in true Rhema fashion!“I have the best job in the world” (Luke Rotherham, December 2010)
Please would you consider sponsoring us as we want this to make a real difference. We are hoping to raise immeasurably more than we could have ever imagined! Personally, after 2 children and not being particularly fit- this will be a challenge to say the least! Please give generously to encourage us to do it!! Thank you so much!
