Dear wonderful friends and family!

One of my New Year’s resolutions for 2014 was to learn to ride a bike. Jokes! I actually decided to take on the much more serious challenge of adventuring all the way to Berlin from Parky Steps (Leeds) this June with my trusty Velo Campus now replaced with a more road worthy road bike, in aid of the Laura Crane cancer trust.

My journey will take me 550 miles across grotty England to Hull, where I will board a ferry to Rotterdam and cycle through the hopefully very flat Netherlands through to Germany where I am hoping to arrive in one piece.

To aid me on this extensive journey, I have already been to sports direct and picked up some extra padded shorts and high vis equipment to keep me safe, however I still need to raise £400 to support the Laura Crane cancer trust - as well as providing support during and after cancer, it is the only UK charity to be funding medical research into cancers that affect young adults. I would be EXTREMELY appreciative of any money that could be put towards this very worthy cause, every amount is valuable. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope you will be able to find it in your hearts to donate... I also hope I get to Berlin.
