We raise funds at Nottingham to transform lives.

Story

I'm walking 29 miles of the Robin Hood Way over two days, as part of a team tackling the whole 105-mile route, to raise money for vital breast cancer research at The University of Nottingham.

Like many people, breast cancer research is a cause that hits close to home as the disease has touched people on both sides of my family. I'm also proud to be deeply involved in the Life Cycle 6 as a member of the Campaign Office - I want to play my part in making the University's ambitious research aims a reality.

Your support will help to fund research into an innovative blood test which detects breast cancer early - while it's too small to feel and before it can be seen on a mammogram - and which could potentially help prevent 35% of all future breast cancer cases from developing.

Visit nott.ac.uk/lifecycle to find out more about our cause and campaign.

From me and my achy feet - thanks for your support!
