Ladies Charity Race · 24 May 2015
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Supporting the injured jockeys fund and borders MS.
The past few years I have been riding as an amateur jockey but suffered a fall in December 2013 dislocating my knee and rupturing all 4 ligaments which left me needing surgery and extensive Physio that put me out of action for 12 months.
On the 24th May 2015 I will take part in the ladies charity race, held at Kelso racecourse over a distant of 1m 5f. Every year these sorts of races gain great support from all over the country for fantastic charities.
The boss, Micky Hammond, has done plenty of charity work over the years and as a past winning trainer of the race he felt it right to support the race once again and with me, as an injured jockey myself riding in it. What more of a fitting way to give a little back than to help this great cause, so I will join the fellow ladies in having a lot of fun for a fantastic cause in which is so desperately needed within the racing industry.
So please donate and help us raise as much money we can! Here's to just giving a little back :-)
