Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Beersbridge Elim Campaigners will be supporting the Bubble Foundation over the coming year and to raise funds for the charity Campaigners leaders have agreed (not forced into!!) to walk from Giants Causeway to Belfast from Friday 3 May to Sunday 5 May. It is approximately 3 marathons in 3 days.
We were particularly touched by the story of Thomas McGuinness and his parents Kevin and Frances and wanted to do something to support the work of the Bubble Foundation which supported them through the bone marrow transplant.
Here's more about Thomas' story

The Bubble Foundation has been saving the lives of babies and children born without an immune system since 1987.
2013 will be the 21st anniversary of the Bubble Foundation. The Bubble Unit, was established in 1987 to treat babies and children born with defective immune systems, by offering them bone marrow transplantation. Since 1994 and 2000 respectively, the Unit has also begun to treat children suffering from leukaemia, and severe forms of arthritis.
It is a tribute to the whole team that survival rates for the children who are treated on the Bubble Unit have risen initially from 50% to 80% now in 2012.
