Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Cancer Research is important to me as my Dad's life was cut short due to Pancreatic cancer, as was his sister's. I am being tested for the faulty gene for Pancreatic cancer but, unfortunately, there is currently no way to screen for it; without detection, it remains a 'silent killer'. Research into cancer detection, causes and treatment is so important and I hope to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I have lost dear friends and family to a range of cancers, and know people who are suffering with it just now. Cancer indeed affects us all.
