Midnight of 11th June 2011 was a cold/dry evening which was a blessing as it had been raining for most of the day prior to the walk.

The atmosphere was electric, men and women, old and young dressed in their fabulously decorated bras ready to pound the streets of Edinburgh for friends, relatives or simply because Breast Cancer affects so many people.

Sharon and I both completed the challenge during the morning of the 12th. I came in just after 3:30 am and Sharon crossed the line just after 7:00 am and we received our medals.

A hot bath, a delicious meal and a bottle of bubbly certainly made us feel human again.
