The Waterberg Trust Challenge Ride 2016

The Waterberg Trust Challenge Ride 2016 · 12 March 2016
I was sent this Challenge by my sister and was completely blown away by such an amazing opportunity. We will be riding between 25 and 40 km a day with an experienced ranger Ant Baber, the owner of Ants Nest a private game lodge from where the challenge starts. In order to complete this challenge we must raise a £1000 for The Waterberg Trust.
The trust is a UK Charity that helps combat HIV/ AIDS in rural South Africa as well as supporting established educational and health projects in the Waterberg community. In addition our funding would also help save the Waterberg Rhino. In 2014 over 4000 rhinos were illegally killed by poachers in South Africa. The demand for rhino horn is used mainly in Asian countries for Chinese medicine. The Waterberg game reserve is home to the second largest population of rhino, after the Kruger Park, and at the forefront of trying to save and protect them from harm and extinction. Any donations would be very gratefully received. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
