Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My mum has thrown down the guantlet to run a marathon having herself run and power-walked them all over the world.  I have just completed the London Marathon in 4 hours 23 minutes and 42 seconds for St Wilfrid's Hospice in Chichester who perform the most amazing care for patients and families affected by illness. http://www.stwh.co.uk/ I used to be their paperboy when they first opened more than 20 years ago and I want to raise as much as I can to help them continue to carry out their fantastic work. Close sporting friends have had care at St Wilfrid's and I hope I can give them all the support I can having run the London Marathon. With training taking a severe hit with hamstring pulls, quad pulls and a very sore right foot which did not settle until the day before the race, I was unable to run for the last six weeks of training and had to resort to cycling. Muscle cramps from 13 miles saw me slow down at 15, walk a bit at 17, 19.5 and 23.5 but I did run the last mile and a half with back, hamstrings and calf muscles all protesting. The body may have been screaming to stop but your donations and support there was no excuses but to get over that finish line.
