This will be the second year in a row that I have taken part in the London to Brighton cycle ride, and this year, it is an event closer to my heart than ever. 

My Nan has had a real fight with her heart this year, so it's really something that I want and need to do, not only for her, but for others that could find themselves in the same situation. UPDATE: My Nan has recently died due to heart complications.
