Palace to Palace 2018 · 7 October 2018 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be taking part in the 2018 Prince's Trust Palace to Palace as part of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise team entry. I will be doing the ultra distance (95 miles) and 'hoping' to do this is less than 6.5 hours - I really don't want to be wearing cycling shorts for any more time than is neccessary.

The Prince's Trust does some amazing work for young people;

Many of the young people they help are in, or leaving, care, facing
issues such as homelessness or mental health issues, or have been in
trouble with the law.

The trust has returned £1.4 billion in value to society through their help for disadvantaged young people over the last 10 years alone.

Their free programmes gives young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives. They help them develop key skills while boosting their confidence and motivation so they can continue to dream big.

I hope that you will be so generous as to help me achieve my fundraising target of £500.
