The Haslingden to Hardraw bike ride was an idea of a couple of goodfriends a few years back where they attempted a number of different challenges to push themselves and raise money for good causes. The bike ride challenge I joined in with back in 2012 where I started to really struggle around the 40 mile mark and then after pushing through the worst leg cramping and pain I've ever encountered my chain snapped less than 10 miles from the end. I was needless to say devasted. This year the bike ride is back! But with a slight twist.... There will be 7 super hero's taking the 60 mile up and down hill ride and we aim to raise £2000 between us. 

Now my chosen charity is cancer research UK.and anyone who knows me closely with know that in recent years cancer has affected many people in my family I love with devasting effects so being able to give even this small personal target of £250 towards research of cures to these terrible illnesses will make me extremely happy. So please give what you can and I will push on for the full 60 miles and make it to the finish line this year!!!
