Over 500,000 older people in the UK experience some form of abuse. 

Action on Elder Abuse is a Charity which aims to prevent the abuse of older people by raising awareness; encouraging education; promoting research; and collecting and disseminating information.

Their vision is a society which values older people and one in which they and other adults can live free from abuse perpetrated by those in whom they have an expectation of trust. 

Typical abuse can range from somebody overcharging for some basic DIY to a friend or relative exploiting their finances. 

I have had personal experience of seeing this type of Abuse and is a charity close to my heart. Please dig deep and help me support this very worthy charity .
