Yes, this is it ! All that talk and now I am actually going to run the marathon. 

Training is hard at the moment because the snow and ice make it very slippery under foot and have caused a few problems but I will battle on. I am also not drinking now until the day, so please feel very sorry for me if you want. Actually you can blame Louise C because she told me to do that !!

Anyway alongside all the training I need to raise some money for a really good cause, Sightsavers. 
So, you guy's, my friends, are the people that I need to ask for help. I realise that money is tight at the moment so it doesn't need to be massive amounts, every little helps. Sightsavers helps people around the world eliminate avoidable blindness.
