I am taking part in the DLA Piper Simien Mountains Challenge with 45 colleagues from DLA Piper offices all over the world. 

Those of you who know me, I am a very active person who loves a challenge and this one particular adventure is sure to be amazing. 

DLA Piper and UNICEF have been working together in an award winning partnership since 2013.  The challenge is to embark on a 4 day trek across the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia.  The aim is to ascend Africa's 5th highest mountain, Mount Bwahit (4,450 m) on day 6.

The funds raised from this event will go towards supporting UNICEF's child justice programmes in order to ensure that children who come into contact with the law, whether as victims, witnesses or offenders, are properly protected.
