Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Please take time to read up a little using the links below. You'll see that this cause is massively worthwhile with it carrying such tragic consequences. There are many good things that come out of any bad situation and Jamie is one of them. I'm not professing to know the family directly but their story has touched me as it has so many thousands of others, some of whom are going through or have been through the same sad times.
I am going to undertake a few events this year to try and raise money and awareness of this cause. I started with the Avalanche Run 10k in February. In April I will be running the London marathon. Then in June I am taking part in the Norfolk Superhero Challenge (a quadrathlon) with a friend. Finally in August I have been asked to make up a 4 man team undertaking the 3 Peak Challenge (leaving plenty of time in the rest of the year to take on a couple more challenges but I haven't confirmed any yet!). Sounds like a lot but I feel its nothing compared to the 'umph' that would be needed to face the world each day that your child is fighting for their life!
