We are powered by people. We’re here to find a cure and improve lives, together.

Story

Yorkshire Warrior is the ultimate challenge, 16km run across the Yorkshire countryside with hills, bogs, 200m river walk, 1km underground tunnel, fire, ice bath, barbed wire, electric fence, crawling, climbing, log carrying, pressure washer firing range and much more!!

My Dad has been living with Parkinson's for the last couple of years. The research Parkinson's UK has been able to do on the disease has been groundbreaking and the help they have been able to give from their findings has been essential!

It has helped significantly with his day to day life as the disease effects people's movements, making it hard to do simple tasks such as hold a pen and get dressed. People also get tremors (uncontrolable shaking) and aches and stiffness in the joints which all get worse over time.

We hope to raise as much money as possible so they can find out more and more about this disease and try and find a cure!

- Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's.

- One person in every 500 has Parkinson's. That's about 127,000 people in the UK.

- As the UK's Parkinson's support and research charity we're leading the work to find a cure, and we're closer than ever!!

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
