A REMARKABLE little boy is diving in to raise cash for the baby unit where his premature cousin was born.
Ben Stevens started swimming when he was nine months old and could swim the length of a hotel pool at just 22 months old.
The three-year-old from Warrington is going to swim 10metres without the aid of armbands for Leighton Hospital’s special care baby unit.
His cousin Megan Oulton was born at the hospital in Crewe eight weeks premature on Monday 10th May 2010, weighing just 3lb 13oz.
“He wants to do a sponsored swim to help the special care baby unit at the hospital where Megan was born. He can do 20 metres on his back and 10 metres on his tummy".
