The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year my wife and I cycled 45 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle in a mixture of rain and drizzle with practically no practice and sub-par cycling gear. To emphasise how hard that was, Philippa will not be cycling this year, but will instead be waiting in Windsor with our daughter expecting me (through pure grit and determination - the exercise plan has been equally poor this year!) to drag myself across the finish line.

Why on earth would I do this you may ask?

Well the simple reason is that the Prince's Trust is a fantastic charity creating life-changing opportunities for disadvantaged young people in the UK. I've been lucky enough to have a stable family life, receive a good education and never have to worry about much other than my sizeable mortgage bill. That just isn't the case for many young people and through the Prince's Trust we can give them the helping hand they need.

Please give generously and pray that my legs don't die whilst going up the hill towards the end!

Ben
