Story
One kid through the entire one year Catch 22 education programme!
This is my goal. Will you support me???
On the 28th August I'm going to jump from an aeroplane at 10,000ft and after falling 5000 ft in free fall the instructor will (I hope) deploy the chute and we'll land safely with no broken bones. Scared, but psyched by why I'm doing it.
Watch the video on the left and see why.
Catch22 help young people in difficult situations and like the old adage of not giving a man a fish, but teaching him how to make a rod: Catch22 don't simply give hand outs to these young people: they teach them real life skills and then help them get apprenticeships and placements at organisations around the UK. Organisations such as Auto22, a garage in Gravesend which is a social enterprise and part of the Catch22 family whose profits go to Catch22 and are able to employ graduates from their mechanics programme.
It costs Catch22 £1000 a year to train one person for a year on their mechanics programme and as they don’t get any funding from the government, fund raising is the only way they can help these kids. That breaks down as £83 per month, so I decided to raise enough for one person for one year and I'm doing this because I believe that you can connect with this concept and the work that they’re doing here and I believe that you can see and understand the real, tangible difference that £83 will make.
I understand that not everyone can afford £83, so any amount is appreciated, and why not club together with some of your friends and family and raise a month’s worth?
Thank you so much and please watch my video and make your donation.

03.08.2010 Update
Catch22 have produced a video for the social enterprise garage attached to them called Auto22. This is the garage that helped me so well when my car broke down before my sister's wedding and I have even been down specifically to meet Boo who is in the film and a graduate of the Catch22 mechanics course.
