Hi.


Last year my beautiful wife Lianne, received the devastating news that she had breast cancer with secondary liver cancer. This news completely rocked our little family, our extended families and all our friends, as she has always been full of good health, outgoing and full of beans. Since diagnosis Lianne has bravely undergone a grueling schedule of chemotherapy, invasive surgery and is due to start radiotherapy later this Spring. But throughout she has kept a huge smile on her face and maintained a strength and dignity which is truly hard to believe. Because of her incredible bravery and outlook our two young boys, Jack and Finn, continue to thrive in a happy home and that we are all able to keep going. 


For the last 9 months Lianne has spent all of her spare time participating in valuable fundraising to help others like herself. 
Macmillan Cancer Support have been by our side every step of the way, providing essential support, information and sincere comfort throughout. I have chosen to run the Edinburgh marathon to support Lianne in her fund raising and give back to a great charity which continues to help us so much. 


To this end I would really appreciate it if you'd kindly sponsor me, as every penny will go towards this fantastic and worthy charity and help people like Lianne. My aim is complete the run in under 4 hours with a big smile on my face too!
