Story

Hello all and thank you for visiting our fundraising page!

On 25th April 2010, Ben and Anna will attempt to run the Virgin London Marathon in order to raise money for Lynn's Bowel Cancer Campaign! This is a great charity which funds research into bowel cancer and does a lot of good work in publicising the disease so that people learn to spot symptoms at an early stage. It is also a charity that we have both been involved with for a number years.

This weekend, Anna and I enthusiastically (begrudgingly) kickstarted (talked about a lot) our intensive training programme (going for a run some days but not others).

Never fear, we are aware that marathons are not all fun and games. I'm sure some generous donations from our big-hearted and open-handed friends and family will motivate us to step up the training and hopefully avoid serious, irreversible injuries to our shins when it comes to running 26.2 miles!

Once again, thank you loads your much needed support in helping us achieve our goal of £3000. Remember to visit our site again soon to see how we are getting along. We will also be sure to keep you updated in person over the coming months!
