Ben and Emily are running the Edinburgh Marathon for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.  By donating money you'll be helping acheive the goal of a future free from the fear of breast cancer.

We decided to run the marathon together, because we can keep each other motivated as we get fitter and in shape!  Ben is incredibly unfit, lazy and generally good for nothing.  Emily often goes to the gym, but secretly depises it.  So why did we choose to run the marathon?

As with so many of our major decisions, it took place in a pub.  A group of friends having a drink and discussing things they'd like to do before they died.  Not so unusual, you might think.  The unusual part was when Emily and Ben both agreed that they wanted to run the marathon and that there was no time like the present.  And following it through to its inevitable conclusion.  Daily runs, exhaustion and knee pain.

So we decided that we would set up a JustGiving page for all our mutual friends to donate to the cause.  We plan to split the proceeds of this page evenly between us to both reach our goal of £1000 towards Breakthrough.
