First of all thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

 

As most of you are aware I contracted a life threatening illness known as chronic myeloid leukaemia. (http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Cancerinformation/Cancertypes/Leukaemiachronicmyeloid/CML.aspx)

During this tough time in my life I was competeing at the highest level in my respective sport, water polo. Since overcoming the illness I have carried on playing my beloved sport as well as competing for sheffield Hallamshire hospital at the British Transplant Games and for Great Britain at the world transplant games in competitive swimming. In past years I have had great success at both games, inparticular the World Transplant Games (5 world champion titles and 3 world records). 

The games take place every two years, in various countries around the world. Next year the games are in South Africa and unfortunately I do not receive any sponsorship or funding towards travel, training costs or team kit. So I rely on kind people like you guys to help me out! Please donate anything you can even if it's just £1, you've helped me get one step closer to South Africa and more World champioship medals/World Records!
