With a new blood cancer diagnosis every 27 seconds worldwide, Cure Leukaemia funds research nurses at UK blood cancer centres, giving patients access to treatments through clinical trials. This support drives global significant advancements in blood cancer, impacting those affected by the disease.

Story

I’ve signed up to ride Geoff Thomas’ ‘London 2 Paris: Inspiring the Revolution’ challenge, when I’ll be cycling 500km – that’s up to 80 miles a day – from June 18-22. I’m trying to help Geoff raise £1million for Cure Leukaemia – the blood cancer charity that saved his life.

Former Wolves midfielder Geoff has given me a personal fundraising challenge and I need your help! If I raise £50,000, Geoff will swallow his pride and wear an Albion shirt for one of our four days in the saddle. Please donate and help me turn Geoff into a Baggie for a day!

Cure Leukaemia funds a network of specialist research nurses to administer clinical trials of potentially lifesaving drugs to leukaemia patients. The work being undertaken at the world-renowned Centre for Clinical Haematology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, is boosting the fight against blood cancers on a national and international scale.
