Hello
In a remarkable move I will be attempting to run 13.1 miles on an (in all likelihood) wet Sunday. For all of you who are fond of slapstick and other forms of physical comedy, please come along and support me - I guarantee you some genuine opportunities to laugh your socks off.
For readers of a sensitive disposition, a disclaimer: I will be wearing lycra, please be aware of the implications of this. I take no responsibility for scarred retinas.
Here comes the science:
I am running for De Paul UK, who offer homeless and disadvantaged people the opportunity to fulfil their potential and move towards an independent and positive future. More here - http://www.depaulnightstopuk.org/content/depaul-uk-home
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity (making sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation). So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Many, many thanks - please do dig deep and donate as much as you can!
And feel free to come and visit me on September 21st - I'll be in the traction ward of the General Hospital.
