Gary and I have a friend whose daughter, Beth, suffers from Retts Syndrome (a neurodevelopmental disorder exclusively affecting females) and each year we undertake a challenge in order to raise much needed funds in an attempt to find a cure.

In America research has been conducted, resulting in the disorder being reversed in mice. However, the severe lack of funding has limited the process being trialed with humans. Consequently, it is imperative that as much money as possible is raised in order to speed up this process and, hopefully, find a cure for Beth and the other Rett daughters.

This year's challenge is 5x50, where we will complete 5k (running, cycling, rowing or swimming) each day for 50 days. We will be doing this as part of Team Reverse Rett and would appreciate anything you may have to offer, however big or small.
