Ben died of pneumonia just 2 days after his 37th birthday leaving a young family; wife Emma and two sons, Jacob (7) and Sam (4).

 

A team of Ben's family and friends will cycle coast to coast across the French Pyrenees on 22nd-27th June 2014 to raise money in Ben's name for Winston's Wish, a charity which supports bereaved children like those that Ben has left behind.

 

The challenge covers a distance of 650kms over 6 days with an ascent of over 10km, climbing 12 cols including the famous Tour de France giants Col du Tourmalet, Col d'Aspin and Col d'Aubisque.
