Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are raising money for Brain Tumour Research and on behalf of Team Charlie Cox, who are raising money for my friends son.  Charlie is undergoing treatment for a brain tumour, having first been diagnosed when he was only 8 months old.

Brain tumour research receives less than 1% of national funding, despite accounting for most occurences of cancer in the under 40's. Even benign brain tumours can be life threatening and are likely to become cancerous over time. Brain Tumour Research are the only national charity in the UK funding continuous research into brain tumours.

Anyone who knows Ben knows he is in fantastic shape but Dan definitely needs some work before the race. So anyone who wants to come and watch Ben succeed whilst Dan struggles is totally welcome. We are in the 12:30 wave on the 23rd of July.
