My story

This year Ben reached the ripe old age of 40 and, as predicted, entered the 'mid-life crisis' phase of his life. He decided that naturally the best way to celebrate this milestone birthday was to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats. Who wouldn't? Well, to be honest, most of us wouldn't be that mad .... apart from Marc!

The boys have only 16 weeks to train for this gruelling challenge. They will be expected to cycle for 100 miles every day for almost 2 weeks! They will be away from friends and family, their legs will ache, they won't be able to sit down ... and worse than that, Marc will have to put up with Ben's jokes for 2 weeks solid! This is NOT going to be easy!

In doing this journey, the boys would also like to raise as much money as possible for charity, but why Grove House? Grosvenor Wealth Management Ltd, Ben's company and Marc's employer, are committed to giving something back to the community. As such, every member of the team was part of the nomination process to select one local and one national charity for GWM to support during 2012. This year our local charity is Grove House Hospice in St Albans. Please support the boys as much as you are able.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Many thanks.
