It helps needy young people predominantly. Internationally, this is done through education, provision of shelter and accommodation, youth centres, parishes, aid work and missionary outreach. In Britain, work is done through provision of schools, youth chaplaincies, a residential youth retreat centre, parishes, youth centres and volunteering opportunities for young adults.

Story

I will be cycling from Lands End (the most Southern Western point of mainland UK) to John O'Groats (the most Nothern Eastern point of mainland UK) in 9 days in the Easter Holidays. I will be doing this with my best friend James Nanji. In total we will do over 900 miles averaging over 100 miles a day.

This is by far the greatest challenge on a bike that I have undertaken. The only other multi-day activity I have undertaken was the South-Down-Way off-road in two days (100 miles). I have therefore been training hard putting in the mile when and where ever possible including cycling to school most days.

The cost of hotels and transport is being paid for out of mine and James’ own pocket (Plus the support vehicle of my mother and father and girlfriend). All of the money raised will go straight to the Don Bosco Ashalayam project which provides for vulnerable street children who do not have family and friends to look after them. They will be given a roof over their heads and food as well as an Education. This education will then provide them with the opportunity to go and provide for themselves when they grow up. For a better idea please watch the video of the 6 formers who went to India in February or please read this report http://frogserver/user/74/97593.pdf.

I appreciate the time taken to visit my JustGiving page and am very appreciative of any donations.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
