In 2009 I fell pregnant with a little boy. at just 5 months gone i found out he had brain damage and was unlikely to survive. the doctors urged me to abort the pregnancy saying Ben would most probly die and so could i. Despie all this i new i had to continue the pregnancy and would never give up hope for my little boy even if he died in my arms. he was given just a 3% chance of survival. However, on 19Th of April 2010 my little boy was born with 25 doctors in the room he was born by csection and I named him Benjamin. :) At just 9 days old, i took him home. he was healthy! at one month old a severe diabetic illness took over Ben and i was rushed to hospital with him. After 3 days the doctors told me he was lucky to be alive and that his kidneys were not working as they should. He was diognosed with diabeties insipidus, a sodium related diabeties. His first diognosis. at 5 months old i reslised that something was seriously wrong as Ben was not progressing as he should. after further i vestigations and tests, he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Seopto-Optic Dysplasia, Shisenchaphaly, Hemiplisia, reflux, and more recently, autism and sensory overload dissorder.i was also told he is blind.

Ben requires 24/7 care and uses a wheelchair. he has regular physio sessions and other therapys aswell as regular botox for his arms and legs.

We are fundraising to pay for therapies, treatments and equipment that can help benefit Bens condition and improve his abilities and quality of life. 

With the help of the chairty Tree of Hope, Ben's doctors and therapists and the avid support of our family and friends, I am on a mission to raise the money needed to give my son progress in life.
