Royal Parks Half Marathon · 13 October 2009

We aim to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be found, no matter how long it takes. We are champions for, and supporters of, vulnerable dogs and cats, determined to create lasting changes for animals in our society.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this page.

On Sunday I completed the Royal Parks Half Marathon. If you'd like to give a few pounds to the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home that would be great.

As you will know one of my dogs, Thea, went missing earlier this year. Battersea do a great job reuniting dogs (and cats) with their owners, or if this is impossible finding them a happy new home. Every year the home takes in around 12,000 dogs and cats.

You can find out more about their work at:

Now the boring bit:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
