Bere Alston Trekker's (Bat's) are an established running club and we (our members) will be spending 2010 raising money for Help for Heroes.

We will be starting by hosting the Bat's Big Breakfast (which will include a giant raffle and cake stall) on January 16th in Bere Alston Parish Hall, 10am - 2pm.  This will be an opportunity to enjoy either a full English breakfast or simply share a slice of hot buttered toast and a cup of tea with family and friends - our cakes have a habit of selling out very quickly so please come early to avoid dissapointment. Update this event raised £800.33 - thank you to all those who either helped on the day, donated items or who came and had a breafast.

Two of our club members, Pam Adams and Simon Griffiths, will be taking to the streets of London in April in order to take part in the London Marathon.

We hope to hold a further Bat's Big Breakfast later in the year as well as a ladies pamper day, more sponsored runs and a coffee morning (or two).
