The Berkeley Partnership will be taking part in the Heineken Race to the Tower Event on the 9th and 10th of June 2018.

Together 16 of the Berkeley Team will be walking (or running if we can hack it!) 26.2miles in one day.

We will be raising money for two fantastic charities; MIND and School Ground Sounds. 

This page is for donations to School Ground Sounds (SGS). 

SGS is a music charity based in South London. Working with schools and youth centres, its aim is to support and empower young musicians from disadvantaged backgrounds who want to further their musical aspirations. With the continuing decline in funding and priority given to music in state schools, the demand for what SGS offers is greater than ever.

In just over three years over 300 young musicians have already benefited from the SGS programme.

The programme includes: 
• recording studio experience
• 1-1 mentoring with music industry professionals
• a 6 week music industry crash course (called “The Grit School”)
• song-writing and music-making workshops for groups of young people, in conjunction with youth centres
• an annual songwriting competition for 11-18 year olds
• live performance opportunities
• the showcasing of talent online.
