Using a holistic approach it provides psychological and physical therapy, counselling and medical treatment to engage torture survivors in a process to assert their human dignity

My story

So, after nearly 5 months of training, I'm hoping that this Berliner Dom will soon be running past that Berliner Dom. Many, many thanks to everyone who has supported me through my training (and to those of you who've had to live through it step by step!), I couldn't have made it this far without you.

On 20th September, Me, Haile Gebrselassie and 39,998 others will be pounding the streets of Berlin. I think Haile's concentrating on a new world record, but in an attempt to make this not all about me, I'm trying to raise money for the Medical Foundation. The organisation provides medical, counselling and legal support to victims of torture, and it's such a lifeline for people who have been through incredible suffering, which doesn't stop just because they've made it to relative safety. I'm really grateful for any donation you can give - rest assured it'll provide me with powerful motivation to keep going when it all gets a bit hairy and I just feel like lying down and having a big tantrum (although you're welcome to sponsor me for that, too!).
