If you are on this page it is because you've already heard from me and know that I am planning to undertake a challenging cycle ride of 460km in Vietnam and Cambodia to raise money for MAG. This is an international humanitarian organisation that has worked in over 35 countries since 1989, clearing landmines and other unexploded weapons left behind as a result of conflicts. As well as clearing the mines, MAG helps people reconstruct their lives by making land suitable for living on and farming. The organisation needs over £31 million per year to keep doing this work so every donation counts.

£15 can train and equip a local deminer for a day

£20 can buy demining overalls

£30 buys a sturdy pair of boots

£40 can provide headwear such as helments with visors

£220 is the price of a flak jacket which could save a life

£550 will help MAG make a remote, safe and controlled explosion with an electronic exploder

£2,000 pays for a metal detector

£25,000 is the cost of a fully-equipped MAG vehicle for transporting staff and equipment
