On November 10th, to coincide with the 100th anniversary celebrations to mark the end of World War One, I'm taking part in a tandem skydive to raise funds to help this great charity's work of supporting homeless and vulnerable
veterans. With their Homes for Veterans service, 
Alabaré is the largest provider of accomodation for working age homeless veterans outside of London.

It seems fitting to do my third jump for this charity at this time and if anyone thinks I'm an old hand so it'll be easy think again - I KNOW what it feels like and I'm already nervous, so please add a bit of support as the ONLY reason I'm doing this is to help our veterans.

Alabaré has 124 beds in homes varying in size from 3 to 8 bedrooms across South England and Wales.  Each of the homes focuses on enabling the Veteran, of whatever age, to overcome issues that have led them to become homeless. Many have been impacted by their time in the Military and need a wide range of support to enable them to transition from the Army, Royal Navy or RAF into civilian life. The support may include help to overcome issues around mental ill-health, transfer skills from Military to civilian employment, secure housing and learn to integrate into society.  The 
Alabaré approach includes building confidence, teaching life skills such as budgeting and giving a sense of value and purpose to Veterans who feel they have lost this.
