We are the UK’s leading autism research charity. Our mission is to create breakthroughs that enable all autistic people to live happier, healthier, longer lives. We do this by funding research, shaping policy and working with autistic people to understand their needs.

Story

This summer I have entered a number of events to raise money for Austistica. It is a charity very close to my heart as it funds research into the causes of Autism.

I have entered 5 events over the course of the summer and hope to raise at least £7,000 pounds for this worthy cause. The first event is the King of the Downs, a 180 kilometre ride through the South Downs. The second event is the Windsor Triathlon (1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run). Third is the 550km London to Paris cycle race (I will not swim the channel, that's what ferries are for!). Fourth is the Vitruvian triathlon (1.9km swim, 85km bike and 21km run) and the last event is the Royal Parks half marathon.

The distance covered will be 910.4 km and just a few more in training. I am not expecting sponsorship per kilometre, however I would be grateful for any donation that you are able to make.

Many thanks

Bernie
