Hello

 

We are competing in the Liverpool 2009 Santa Dash to raise awareness of Diabetes and its impact  on patients and their families.

 

On a personal level, this is our opportunity to  support our  family members  who live with diabetes by raising funds to advance research in this area and to publicise healthy lifestyle activities that can assist in ameliorating some of the debiltating effects of the condition.

 

In 2010, The University Hospitals Aintree NHS Foundation Trust  will  open its  'state of the art '  Diabetes Centre on the University Hospital Aintree Site.

 

The Operations and Service Improvement Team  (Andy, Juliette and Beryl) are working with doctors, nurses, podiatry teams, screening services and therapy staff to ensure this service delivers a comprehensive one stop facility for patients with diabetes and we are very excited to be able to support this new development.
