Story

Hi all

Thanks so much for visiting my page and helping out a very worthy cause. On May 11th, I completed a 107 mile ride from Cardiff to tenby, in some of the most challenging conditions the ride, and me, has ever seen!

The Carten ride was one of my most toughest challenges yet.  Unsure whether I had the confidence or the physical ability to finish, we set off from Cardiff at 8am in a downpour, which when added to the 30mph Westerly head wind (we cycled West, all the way!), battling to stay upright along Llanelli waterfront, I was pretty close to packing it in.

However, bananas, mars bars, cups of tea and a terrible egg sandwich from a spar in Llanelli just about got me into Tenby at 6pm, where a waiting crowd of about 250 people cheered us in- tear in the eye moment!

I've now finally kicked that accident into touch and I can get on with doing what I do best- ridiculous sporting challenges that can help charities along the way.

Thank you so much for coming through- any donations gratefully recieved- I look forward to nagging you again in the future :o)
