In summer 2011, I will be travelling to Ghana to help give Ghanaian children the opportunity to an education. Volunteering for Sabre Charitable Trust, I will be aiding them in making a brighter future for the children of Ghana.
Sabre Charitable Trust is a none profit making organisation which aims to give the gift of education throughout Ghana. Not just for children though, the charity also works towards educating adults with life saving knowledge, such as teaching about malaria. Sabre also provides much equipment to help save lives, for example mosquito nets and to give children an education, for example bricks and mortar for building a classroom.
In order to go out to Ghana, I must fundraise to cover costs such as medicines for the community of Ghana, school items like pencils to aid the progression of Ghanaian educational development and building materials for schools, as well as expedition costs.
