Bethany's Galaxy Pageant

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, hopefully you're one step closer to donating for such an amazing cause.
As some of you know from the last time i was raising money for the christie, my mum had been diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2014 and amazingly, she managed to defeat it and now in October 2016 she has been clear of cancer for over a year. I couldn't be more happy.
However, come November 2014, a new chapter in my life began, I suppose it is the most important one so far. I met my boyfriend, Euan Gray. I can't explain to you how happy I was to meet him, and his family. I met his Mum, Kay Rodgers, very shortly after meeting Euan. She was fighting cancer in Dr Kershaws Hospice and had been receiving treatment from The Christie for years, they couldn't have done more for her. In the short time that i knew her, she was just such an amazing lady to be around and I know how much she loved her two sons, Euan and Dane Gray. I know she couldn't be more proud of the both of you.
Sadly, Kay lost her battle on the 12th January 2015. But she lives on so much in Euan, even in the time i knew her, i could see how similar they were. I am a very lucky girl to have someone like him.
Basically, all I'm trying to do is make sure that through the events, all this money is going to something worth while, something thats so close to everyones lives. It affects everyone, is one way or another. Last time i raised just over £500 for The Christie. This year, i want to double that figure as i know that, with the help of others, we can do it.
Thank you so much, lots of love, Beth x
