Story
In November i’ll be pretending I’m about to go on an amazing holiday to Ecuador in South America... IRL, i’ll be heading off to climb 4 volcanoes (1 being very much active and able to erupt at any time)! Myself and a team from MoneySuperMarket will be embarking on this monster trip, attempting to summit 4 volcanoes in the space of about a week. The highest stands at 5,897m, higher than Everest base camp and Kilimanjaro. To put that into something I can comprehend more, summiting all volcanoes will be the same as walking up over 10,000 flights of stairs!!
I’m hoping to meet not 1 but at least 2 llamas during the trip, and hoping to not meet wild dogs who could give me rabies!
This challenge will be the biggest I’ve ever attempted, previously I’ve dabbled in sporting challenges, completing the 3 peaks challenge and the Reading half marathon. I’m so excited to have the opportunity to do this challenge, raising money for The Prince’s Trust.
I was lucky enough to attend The Prince’s Trust awards this year and saw first hand how the courses and workshops provided by The Prince’s Trust help young people not only get into work but also to help them overcome personal challenges in order to thrive!
I would be incredibly grateful if you could donate to help fund more opportunities for young people across the country and i’m sure completing this challenge will be 1000 times easier knowing that my efforts could help change so many young lives!
As a fantastic and hilarious extra, i’ll throw in a gallery of all the hideous pics of me killing myself training for, and attempting this if you sponsor me!
