Hope4theWorld was started in 2002 to help the internally displaced victims of civil war and ethnic cleaning in Burma.Taking help directly to those in need, we provide healthcare and education to save lives and build communities, training up medics and teachers in the jungle, bringing hope and help.

<div class="frp-message clearfix dotted-border-blue"> <div class="frp-message-body" style="height: auto;"> <p><span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; border-collapse: collapse; color: #000000;">I am going&nbsp;to be part of a team of 30+ medics going to the Thai / Burma in October 2011 to help train 50 'medics'. &nbsp;25 will be new recruits for Level 1 training and 25 have been selected from the 2010 class who will do Level 2 training. I am going&nbsp;to be&nbsp;one of 8 nurses involved in the training. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; border-collapse: collapse; color: #000000;">Students will go on to treat 1000s of Karen &lsquo;Internally Displaced People&rsquo; (IDPs) inside Burma.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; border-collapse: collapse;"><span style="color: #000000;">The Military Junta does not provide medical care (or education) for minority tribes who do not "tow the party line". &nbsp;Rather the opposite they suffer ethnic cleansing, forced labour and have their villages destroyed.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p> <p><span style="color: #000000;">We are taking annual leave and paying our own expenses but the 2 training courses cost around &pound;15,000.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;">Would you consider sponsoring us and being one of many who will help the team make a difference to some of the neediest and most inhumanely treated people on the face of the earth?</span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;">Thanks a lot</span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;">Pete &amp; Beth</span></p> </p> </div> <span class="grdnt" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span></div>
